Yes, we build move in ready inventory homes throughout the year. Please reach out to inquire about our upcoming builds.

Does Altitude Custom Homes offer existing plans?

Accepted Answer

No. We are a true custom home builder and do not offer generic plans. We build from architectural plans provided by client which we approve for use in construction or, custom designs by our architecture partner.

Not currently, we are in the planning process to build our new design center next year. However, we successfully accommodate design selections in a variety of ways with our clients.

All the homes we build and sell come with a one year whole-home warranty and 10 years structural.

We are also one of the few area builders that  have training and experience in building truly sustainable homes. Our homes implement the latest technologies and practices in designing and building healthier more durable homes, achieving high energy efficiency without increasing air toxicities. We are of the few builders in the north georgia region building with insulated concrete forms (ICF), and the first builder in Georgia to use TimberHP insulation.

What types of projects does Altitude Custom Homes take on?

Our primary focus is high quality custom homes of any size, and significant remodels and additions. We do a fair number of kitchen, bath, and outdoor spaces such as decks depending on the size of the project and quality of finishes expected. We do not do minor home repairs.

Does Altitude Custom Homes work with plans purchased online?

Accepted Answer

No. Generic plans purchased online can't be built without customizations necessary for our area here in the mountains, mainly we are in a seismic zone and foundations and structure require site specific designs. Additionally from experience most homes owners usually want to make changes to plans purchased online, defeating their intended purpose of being cheap ready to go plans.
